Starmont School District Needs You!

There is still much to accomplish in this year’s Iowa Legislative Session.  Finding teachers, bus drivers, associates, and support staff is getting more and more challenging, especially in rural Iowa. The school district is looking for individuals to establish relationships and talk with legislators about education issues. So few people actually engage in the advocacy process that those who do have disproportionate power. People are needed to share their experiences and encourage legislators to research and learn the facts affecting our school.  

The next local form is at the Arlington Community Center on March 16th at 9 AM. 

Keelie Curtis, Alyssa Kleinlein, Olivia Henry, Board Member Jason Gearhart (hidden), and Superintendent Rob Busch met with Senators Carrie Koelker and Dan Zumbach to discuss education issues at Farm Bureau’s forum in Manchester on Friday, March 1st.
